Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider program.
• Licensed as an APRN or PA in North Carolina; DEA license.
• Board certification if required by the Department.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical assessment with history and physicals, develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding medical conditions, treatment and follow-up.
• Provide instruction to physicians, housestaff, nursing and students; participate in education programs.
• Lead and participate in system improvements and quality initiatives.
• Perform procedures within privileging and departmental guidelines.
