Qualifications

• 2 years of security, military, or law enforcement experience or an Associate's degree with 1 year of related experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Patrols designated areas according to established procedures and documents patrols in daily shift reports.
• Documents daily activities in report writing system.
• Provides assistance to patients, visitors and staff.
• Responds to calls for services.
• Assists in the control of potentially violent individuals requiring strength, stamina, flexibility and critical thinking.
• Works with potentially unpredictable individuals requiring teamwork and communication with other security officers.
• Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
• Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.

Education

2 years security/military/law enforcement experience or

Associate's degree +1 year security/military/law enforcement experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field
