Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Security Guard (Class D License) to perform the duties of Security Officer to maintain the safety and security of the hospital during night shifts.

Responsibilities include securing the premises, assisting staff, patients, and visitors, and submitting timely reports. Strong communication and customer service skills are required, with duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent.
• 1 year security officer experience in an acute care setting.
• IAHSS Safety and Security Procedures training within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• CPI training within 90 days of hire.
• Class D Security License required.

Responsibilities

• Secures the premises from unauthorized entry.
• Provides support to staff, patients, and visitors.
• Prepares and submits reports in a timely, accurate manner.
• Demonstrates communication and customer service skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or GED

1 year security officer experience

IAHSS training within 90 days

BLS within 90 days

CPI within 90 days
