Job summary

Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc in Stratford, NJ seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient and outpatient medications. Shift is 8pm-6:30am; candidates must meet NJ regulatory requirements and maintain clean work areas with attention to inventory and waste documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• 1 year of sterile compounding experience.
• Strong knowledge of metric system conversions and ratio calculations.
• Must obtain CPhT and RPT on hire; PTCB certification within 12 months.
• NJ registration within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and fill medications for inpatient and outpatient services.
• Replenish Pyxis machines and monitor refrigerator temps.
• Count, compound, and repack pharmaceuticals per procedures.
• Handle medication dispensing, inventory restock, and waste documentation.
• Assist with billing and charge entries for dispensed meds.
• Fetch physician orders and assist pharmacists as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and restock carts.
