Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc in Turnersville, New Jersey is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient and outpatient medication preparation and dispensing. You will prepare drug orders, replenish Pyxis, monitor refrigeration, and assist the pharmacy team with daily workflows under supervision of staff pharmacists.
The ideal candidate will hold RPT or be eligible for New Jersey registration within 180 days, obtain PTCB certification within 12 months, and maintain compliance with
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED.
- RPT - Registered Pharmacy Technician - State of Pennsylvania.
- New Jersey registration within 180 days of hire.
- PTCB certification within 12 months of hire.
- Enrollment in an accredited school of pharmacy exemption.
Responsabilités
- Prepare drug orders for dispensing by a pharmacist.
- Replenish Pyxis machines and stock.
- Monitor and record refrigerator temperatures; document actions.
- Count, compound and repack pharmaceuticals per procedures.
- Distribute medications to patient areas and restock inventory.
- Maintain waste documentation and ensure proper billing alignment.
- Assist in IV preparation using aseptic techniques and transport IVs.
