Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current, unrestricted Georgia Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.
• Minimum of three years of recent clinical nursing experience; supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital-wide supervision and nursing leadership during the night shift.
• Coordinate safe patient care, staffing, patient flow, admissions, and transfers.
• Serve as the primary after-hours escalation point for clinical and operational concerns.
• Direct staff, maintain policy adherence, and promote quality of care.
• Rounding in patient care areas to assess staffing and safety needs.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and incident response as needed.
• Address patient and family concerns and ensure proper documentation.
• Coach and support staff; address performance or conduct issues.
• Promote infection prevention and regulatory compliance throughout the shift.
• Ensure concise handoffs and shift documentation for day leadership.
• Escalate significant events to the appropriate leaders and departments.
• Provide direct nursing assistance if required to maintain patient care.
