Job summary

Labcorp (PAML a Labcorp company) seeks a Histotechnician to join our Richland, WA team. The role focuses on processing tissue samples, preparing histology slides, and performing IHC tests in a high-volume laboratory environment.

You will work Sunday–Thursday nights, with potential overtime and weekends. A degree in biology/chemistry and histology experience are preferred; ASCP certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Histology certifications (ASCP) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process human tissue and body fluid specimens for microscopic examination.
• Produce histopathological slides from surgical specimens.
• Section embedded tissue with a microtome and mount on slides.
• Perform immunohistochemical tests on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues.
• Follow staining procedures and maintain equipment quality control.
