El Camino Health is seeking a Histotech to perform tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining in a high-volume laboratory. The role requires strong attention to quality control and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Night shift, 0.8 FTE (64 hours bi-weekly). Salary range per hour is shown as $52.78–$69.55. The incumbent will work under supervision of the Medical Director and Histology leadership to support accurate diagnoses and timely processing.

Formación

• High school diploma required; associates degree in Biology/Chemistry preferred.
• Two years of embedding and microtomy experience in a high-volume histology lab within the last 5 years.

Responsabilidades

• Tissue processing using tissue processors according to schedules.
• Embedding tissue into molds with accurate orientation.
