Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Tissue processing and operation of tissue processors per schedule.
• Embedding tissues into molds and preparing blocks for sectioning.
• Microtomy to produce slides for microscopic diagnosis by pathologists.
• Staining using H&E and special stains; maintain clean work area and controls.
• Complete quality records and manage supplies; perform preventive maintenance as needed.
