Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is a nationally recognized health care leader with 40+ Houston locations. The Histology Supervisor oversees embedding, microtomy, staining, and workflow to ensure high‑quality slide production and regulatory compliance.

Lead and train the histology team, maintain hands‑on technical competency, and drive performance in a high‑volume lab. Requirements: HS diploma or GED, HTL/HT ASCP, 5+ years histology, strong attention to detail and leadership.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• HTL(ASCP) or HT(ASCP) certification.
• 5+ years of histology experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee embedding, microtomy, staining, and workflow coordination.
