Primary Responsibilities:

• The Histology Supervisor performs and oversees histology operations including embedding, microtomy, staining, and workflow coordination
• Ensures high-quality slide production, adherence to regulatory standards, and supports laboratory efficiency and team performance
• Provides leadership, training, and operational oversight within the histology section while maintaining hands‑on technical competency

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• HTL(ASCP) or HT (ASCP) - American Society for Clinical Pathology
• 5+ years of histology experience
• Demonstrated solid attention to detail and organizational skills
• Demonstratedsolid manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a high-volume environment
• Demonstratedsolid leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Demonstratedability to work in high-volume environment and maintain turnaround times

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of formal histology training program or equivalent on-the-job training
• QIHC (ASCP)
• Supervisory experience
• Familiarity with medical terminology and LIS systems (e.g., Epic Beaker)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
