Job summary

P4 Security Solutions in Chicago is seeking a dedicated security officer for night shift operations. You will supervise security screening processes, assist hospital staff and visitors, and respond to alerts while maintaining professional conduct.

Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, 11pm-7am. You will file DARs, monitor access points, and uphold client procedures. The role requires a valid PERC license and the ability to stay calm in high-stress situations.

Qualifications

• Licensing: Must possess a valid PERC (IDFPR).
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods while monitoring security screening equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional, approachable presence while ensuring the integrity of security screening protocols.
• Assist hospital personnel and visitors with directions, information, and customer service support.
• Respond appropriately to system alerts and elevate concerns to hospital security leadership or law enforcement as needed.
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) documenting incidents, unusual activity, and security observations.
• Support hospital safety initiatives by monitoring entry points and controlling access to restricted areas.
• Maintain compliance with all client-specific and company operational procedures.
