Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Security Management, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field is highly recommended and/or 3+ years of related experience.
• Familiarity with video surveillance, access control, threat intelligence, mass notification, and incident case management systems.
• Professional certifications such as CPP or PSP are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide centralized monitoring of critical events and rapid outreach to impacted personnel and stakeholders.
• Conduct predictive and real-time assessments to identify security and safety risks and issue alerts.
• Monitor employee locations in real time and adapt to evolving threats or changes.
• Evaluate travel plans and destinations to provide safer choices and risk-reduction strategies.
• Dispatch security officers and EMS personnel as required during incidents.
• Answer routine and emergency calls as a calm security point of contact.
• Maintain data keeping for security systems and escalate damaged equipment for repair.
• Use mass communication systems to deliver urgent messages to the Crisis Management Team.
• Respond and report on thefts, alarms, and incidents, maintaining logs.
• Monitor CCTV and escalate threat detections while maintaining alarm records.
• Operate multi-line telephone and radio equipment.
• Escalate critical event information to shift supervisor and GSOC manager.
• Foster relationships with third-party providers and emergency services for coordinated response.
• Provide badge support and coordination of badge activation and distribution.
