Job summary

Sedgebrook is seeking a hospitality-focused Front Desk Officer to join our team. The role is non-exempt and part-time, with Friday and Saturday nights, 10:45 PM – 6:45 AM, totaling about 15 hours per week. Compensation is $18.00 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential, with benefits and perks included.

You will verify and document the scheduled presence of guests, visitors, vendors, and contractors entering the property, greet people, and coordinate safety procedures on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Familiarity with basic computer systems and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or staff member.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date gatehouse logs.
• Operate and monitor the gatehouse remotely through Axis controls.
• Dispatch Security personnel as needed in response to emergency calls.
• Support emergency communication and established safety procedures.
• Monitor and respond to access-control and gatehouse-related issues.
• Provide information and assistance to residents, visitors, and vendors as needed.
