Job summary

Sedgebrook is seeking a hospitality-focused Front Desk Officer to verify and document scheduled presence of guests, visitors, vendors and contractors entering the property.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service skills, effective English communication, and basic computer proficiency. This is a part-time position with Friday and Saturday night shifts, 10:45 PM to 6:45 AM, including a $0.50 per hour shift differential in addition to $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service experience required. Previous security experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
• Familiarity with basic computer systems and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or staff member.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date gatehouse logs.
• Operate and monitor the gatehouse remotely through Axis controls.
• Dispatch Security personnel as needed in response to emergency calls.
• Support emergency communication and established safety procedures.
• Monitor and respond to access-control and gatehouse-related issues.
• Provide information and assistance to residents, visitors, and vendors as needed.
