Job summary

The Village of St. Edward is seeking a part-time Night Shift Receptionist/Security Desk in Fairlawn, OH for 24 hours per week (3:30pm-11:30pm, Fri–Sun).

The role requires greeting residents, families and visitors, answering inquiries, and securing the building per policy. Prior hotel reception/security and first aid experience is a plus; strong communication and basic instructions comprehension are essential.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Training or background in hotel reception/security and first aide a plus.
• Possess the ability to comprehend written and oral instructions. Able to communicate accurately in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Answers facility and front desk phone in a timely manner relaying messages to proper personnel.
• Monitors Sara system, answers calls promptly and assists residents with their needs.
• Secures building, checks all doors and windows on ground level in public areas per procedure.
• Carries cell phone and two-way radio when not at front desk.
• Patrols facility on regular route.
• Handles emergencies in a calm and direct manner. Knows all emergency procedures and policies.
