Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Front Desk Security Officer for a luxury highrise in Los Angeles, CA. You will provide security and customer service to hotel guests, staff, and visitors, manage access control, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

The role emphasizes a welcoming presence, documentation accuracy, and adherence to site procedures while using security systems and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff by executing security procedures and site policies.
• Staff the front desk, greet guests, verify access, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence.
• Monitor lobby/entrance activity, observe cameras, and report maintenance or security concerns.
• Respond to incidents and guest concerns calmly following site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, key, package, and incident records per site requirements.
