Qualifications

• High-school graduate or equivalent; one year of work-related experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Data Entry and Database Management experience
• Telephone etiquette experience

Responsibilities

• Concierge services: reservations, directions, attractions for guests
• Review reservations and offer options to guests and use suggestive selling
• Register guests, assign rooms, issue room cards, and assist with special requests
• Verify payments, follow credit procedures, post charges to folios and city ledger
• Input guest information in PMS and keep front desk area clean and presentable
• Coordinate with housekeeping to maintain accurate room status and communicate needs
• Adapt shifts as needed and participate in departmental meetings
• Report unusual occurrences to management and follow safety procedures
• Perform other tasks to ensure guest satisfaction
