Qualifications

• Accounting background is preferred but not required.
• Proficient PC and cash register operation.
• Able to compile facts and figures for daily reports.
• Strong telephone and guest relations etiquette.
• Good hearing, vision, and communication skills for guest interactions.
• Willingness to move between front desk and other hotel areas.
• Must pass a background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Audit, balance, and report on all food and beverage outlets, front desk, and related cash operations.
• Audit, balance, post, and report on room charges, taxes, and deposits.
• Prepare and input statistics and income journal sheets for daily reports.
• Balance and close bank ticket codes; run the night audit final.
• Perform Front Desk Agent/Bellman duties including check-ins and check-outs.
• Compile guest emails for comment cards and market research.
• Track guest issues in a master Guest Response Log and share the Flash Report.
• Provide basic supervision of 3rd shift staff and attend quarterly Night Staff meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
