Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience in warehouse or distribution
• Knowledge of the LTL industry and regulations
• Willingness to work days, evenings, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet department demands
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks
• Supervise hourly staff and address workplace concerns
• Ensure production goals are met by managing payroll and admin tasks
• Plan hourly schedules to meet daily goals and reduce costs
• Enforce DOT, OSHA, FMCSR policies and laws
• Coach employees on safety and quality requirements
• Direct a team to meet or exceed productivity goals
• Participate in hiring decisions and action planning
