Job summary

Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc is hiring for a Warehouse/Dock Associate located onsite in Nashville, TN. You will handle high-precision freight, operate forklifts and equipment, and maintain a safe, efficient dock flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Forklift driver qualification required.
• Hazardous Material Training preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Experience in freight, logistics, warehouse, or LTL environments is a plus.
• Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain composure in a fast paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-precision freight handling and secure freight with accuracy and care per work orders and instructions.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, and other equipment safely to move freight.
• Maintain dock flow by transporting freight between dock areas and storage zones.
• Support cross-functional coordination with operations leadership and dock supervisors.
• Uphold safety, accuracy, and performance standards while meeting timelines in a high-velocity environment.
