Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior warehousing or freight handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move freight multiple times per shift.
• Basic math and documentation abilities required.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with hostler/yard mule duties is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform freight handling using equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck.
• Verify documentation matches freight details (type, weight, hazardous materials).
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, and rope.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight as needed.
• Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Assist customers with freight and freight documentation as needed.
• Perform hostling duties if required.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
