Job summary

Gourmet Foods International–GFI Midwest, Kenosha, WI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our high‑velocity team. You will unload, receive, and stage inventory, and help prepare orders for delivery in a fast-paced, cold storage environment.

Key duties include using RF handheld devices, scanning, packing, and transporting pallets for delivery. This role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift to 75 lbs. Carry up to 50 lbs. Push/Pull up to 30 lbs. of force.
• Must be able to be exposed to a refrigerated and freezer environment, ranging from 0 - 36 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ascend and descend a step with a height of 10 in. From the floor.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and be able to work under minimal supervision.
• Consistent, regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Employees must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business and operational needs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to reach and bend.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive, and place incoming inventory items away.
• Operate an RF handheld device to scan, pull, and pack items to fulfill orders.
• View prompts on screens and follow directions for some tasks.
• Building, wrapping, sorting, and transporting pallets for delivery.
