Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock operations in the United States. You will responsibly sort, move, and secure freight using forklifts and pallet jacks, while scanning shipments and maintaining safety on a non-climate-controlled dock.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform basic math, with or without a calculator.
• Available for varied shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends).
• Preferred forklift and dock/warehouse experience.
• Experience loading/unloading trailers and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use pallet jacks and forklifts; operate manual equipment as needed.
• Secure freight inside trailers with proper tools.
• Maintain safety and follow company policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
