Job summary

XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dock team in the United States. The role involves sorting, loading, and unloading freight, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring cargo is secured inside trailers.

You will use handheld devices to track shipments and adhere to safety policies on a non-climate-controlled dock. Preferred candidates have dock or warehouse experience in transportation and forklift experience in LTL environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and basic math skills.
• Willingness to work various shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort, load and unload freight efficiently.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack and other equipment.
• Secure cargo inside trailers using proper tools.
• Follow safety policies and use handheld devices to track shipments.
• Work on non-climate-controlled docks for extended periods.
