Job summary

A-line Staffing is seeking a Forklift Operator for a Distribution Center in North Canaan, CT. This full-time, on-site role runs 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM and pays $25.30/hr, with potential for permanent hire based on attendance and performance.

The operator moves, stages, and replenishes inventory, using RF scanners and warehouse systems to ensure accuracy and quality. Benefits begin after 90 days for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) preferred.
• 1+ year of relevant experience required.
• Intermediate experience with high reach and/or counterbalance equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents in English.
• Comfortable using RF scanners and basic warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Transport palletized product within the distribution center, unload and put-away.
• Manage bulk/double-deep storage and full-pallet picking.
• Load pallets and perform replenishment as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment (high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, dock stocker).
• Use RF scanner and warehouse systems to track inventory and maintain accuracy.
