Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated Forklift Operator for a 40+ hour work week in a 100% on-site distribution center in Canaan, CT. Role emphasizes safe pallet movement, inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency.

Job requires 1+ year forklift experience, high school diploma or GED, and ability to obtain forklift certification. Rotating shifts include weekends and full-time commitment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (verifiable).
• 1+ year of warehouse/forklift experience.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification (site requirement).
• Comfortable using RF scanners and basic computer/WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Transport palletized product within the distribution center (unload, put-away/double-deep, bulk and full pallet pick, load, replenishment).
• Operate material handling equipment (MHE) such as high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker.
• Use RF scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track product movement.
• Follow site safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
• Cross-train in other warehouse functions and provide backup support as needed.
