Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Texas is seeking a forklift operator to load and unload goods in cold and dry storage areas. You will operate sit-down forklifts, move products, and follow safety rules to protect personnel and inventory.

Shifts run Tuesday-Saturday 6pm-2:30am, with responsibilities including inspecting equipment, recording weights, and coordinating with drivers. Must be able to lift 40 lbs and work in cold environments up to -20F.

Qualifications

• Must have sit-down forklift experience.
• Able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Ability to work in cold and hot storage environments.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting devices under pallets and transport to designated areas.
• Record weight, counts, and condition of items via RF system.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand processes.
• Coordinate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety precautions.
• Monitor battery charge and maintain charging station.
• Work with other material handling equipment.
