Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) seeks a 3rd Shift forklift operator in Morganton, NC. This role operates forklifts and wrapping equipment, keeps inventory organized, and documents loads and inbound/outbound materials.

You will support production, balance workloads, and uphold safety standards in a dynamic manufacturing setting. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 6+ months forklift experience, and must be able to obtain PCA forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months forklift experience required.
• Ability to work overtime on short notice.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production, inbound forms, inventory tags and counts.
• Assist other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance workload and keep warehouses organized.
• Follow safety rules and report any forklift defects to supervisor or maintenance.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
