Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Joliet, IL is seeking a Forklift Operator to move stock within a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will load and unload shipments, operate stand-up/sit-down/clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks, and ensure accurate inventory handling.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and consistent performance on a 2C shift (5pm-3am) with competitive pay and benefits. Prior forklift experience and a valid certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or completion within the first 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
• Six months warehouse experience
• Six months forklift operation experience

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other power equipment for 80% of the shift
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring correct quantities and types
• Maintain inventory accuracy with records and reports
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
• Verify load count, stability, and damage; report variances
• Perform daily equipment inspections and battery/tank changes
• Support in physical inventories and general duties as assigned
