Job summary

DHL is seeking a Forklift Operator in Manteno, IL to move stock within our warehouse, load and unload shipments, and operate stand-up or sit-down forklifts during the 4:00pm–2:00am shift.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience

Responsibilities

• Move stock from one area to another within our warehouse environment while loading and unloading shipments
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts and other power equipment as required
• Maintain accuracy of inventory records and keep work area neat and organized
• Follow OSHA/MSDS standards and safety procedures; report variances
• Assist in physical inventories and participate in daily equipment inspections
