Vericast is hiring for a press operator in Jeffersonville, IN to run a high-speed Gietz Foil/Embossing press. The role includes setup, operation, and light maintenance, with duties spanning feeding, die settings, and quality checks on foiled materials.

The position supports other bindery operations as needed and offers benefits after 30 days. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, with hourly pay between $19.00 and $22.00 plus a $1.75 shift differential and potential

Qualifications

• Operate high-speed Gietz Foil/Embossing press and assist with bindery tasks as needed.
• Read and interpret schedules, job tickets, and multi-part specifications.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and maintain clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Operates high-speed Gietz Foil/Embossing press daily to ensure accurate foiled material.
• Perfoms make ready by setting up foil, heat settings, and dies as required.
• Inspects foiled sheets, cleans dies, and moves 60-pound boxes to pallets.
• Performs basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintains organized workspace and inventories foil and supplies.
• Operates cutter and handles cutting/boxing of stock per job specs.
• May assist in training others and performs other duties as assigned.
