Job summary

Indiana Printing and Publishing Company, Inc. is hiring a Full Time Post Press Bindery Operator. You will set up, operate, and maintain bindery equipment to complete printed materials to customer specs and quality standards.

Responsibilities include setup, quality checks, finishing tasks, maintenance, packaging, and coordinating with teams to meet deadlines. A background check is required; training is provided. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Experience operating bindery/finishing equipment in a commercial printing env; training provided.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail for quality assurance.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders/technical instructions.
• Must stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds; push/pull/bend/stoop.
• Be a team player and be punctual.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate post-press equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, binders) per specs.
• Inspect samples for quality during finishing process.
• Perform manual and machine finishing tasks (trim, packaging).
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Package and prepare materials for shipping or delivery.
• Coordinate with press operators and shipping for workflow.
• Follow safety protocols when operating machinery.
