Job summary

Vericast in Jeffersonville, IN is hiring for our printing team. You will oversee daily web press operations, support in-press duties during breaks, and help ensure quality and on-time production in a temperature-controlled, clean environment.

Hourly pay ranges from $20 to $23 per hour, DOE, with a $1.75 shift differential. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. After 30 days, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with employer match, generous PTO and holiday pay are available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production machine operating experience.
• Ability to identify colors and imperfections.
• Strong work habits and willingness to be a team player.
• Analytical, independent thinking and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inspecting printed sheets for color accuracy and specs.
• Wash blankets and plates.
• Move and stage stock; handle 50 lb boxes.
• Enter machine codes and production data.
• Assist press operator with registration and printing specs.
• Prepare rolls for printing and inspect for defects.
• Perform make-ready and perf testing as assigned.
• Maintain press readiness and daily maintenance.
