Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to service hospital locations in Seattle, Issaquah, and Ballard, WA. The role involves blood collection, data entry, specimen processing, and ensuring patient service excellence in a hospital lab setting.

The position requires WA- MA-P phlebotomy license, 21+ years of age, and willingness to work a 4x10 night schedule with overtime as needed. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• WA state Phlebotomy license (MA-P) required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Able to pass a color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
