Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to support hospital locations in Seattle, Issaquah, and Ballard, WA. The role features a 4x10 schedule with nights, performing venipuncture, specimen collection, data entry, and patient service in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in phlebotomy, a WA license (MA-P) or eligible, and a valid driver's license. Flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this mobile hospital

Qualifications

• Washington State Phlebotomy license (MA-P) is required at hire.
• In lieu of license, an application for a phlebotomy license may meet requirement at hire.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
