Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to service hospital locations in Seattle, Issaquah, and Ballard, WA. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens, enter data, and provide excellent patient service in a hospital inpatient lab setting.

Requires Washington Phlebotomy license (MA-P), 2+ years of phlebotomy experience, valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel. Night shifts, generous benefits, and growth opportunities at Labcorp.

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team and service our hospital locations in Seattle, Issaquah, and Ballard, Washington. Work Schedule

Wednesday to Saturday, 9:00pm - 7:30am (4x10)

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

• Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 or more years of experience as a phlebotomist
• 1 or more years of experience as a mobile phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Be at least 21 years old
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a hospital inpatient laboratory. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. Pay Range

$21.87 to $32.28 per hour plus 3rd shift differential. Float Incentive: $2.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement.

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local21.

Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), accrue up to 18 days of Annual Leave per year (includes 8 holidays) and Sick Leave (0.0333) hours of sick leave for each hour of work) capped at 64 hours per year, Tuition Reimbursement and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
