Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Float Pool on the night shift. The role involves 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m.

to 7 a.m., with rotating weekends and holidays, at the Somerset, Kentucky campus. Under RN or LPN supervision, you will deliver basic patient care, monitor vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and report changes to nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Handle with Care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assists patients with bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
