Job summary

Quorum Health Corporation seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for the Float Pool at Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson, KY. This full-time on-site position predominantly covers night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with scheduling that may vary by department needs.

You will perform direct patient care under a Registered Nurse, assist with dressing, bathing, and eating, collect vital signs, and support physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from an accredited nursing assistant program required.
• SRNA License to practice in the state of Kentucky.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assists patients in dressing, bathing, or eating.
• Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens or gathers vital signs.
• Aids physicians and nursing staff with procedures as needed.
• Documents patient interactions as needed.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
