Job summary

Brunel is seeking a Night Field Operator to support nighttime lease operations and maintain production across assets in Texas. The role emphasizes understanding production flow paths, troubleshooting alarms, and multitasking within a fast-paced shift team to keep production online.

The candidate will use remote surveillance to diagnose issues, develop action plans before site visits, and execute solutions with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of oil and gas industry experience.
• Flowback and lease operating experience is required.
• High School Diploma is required; an Associate degree with technical training is preferred.
• Strong understanding of production flow paths and facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, update, and oversee activities within assigned operating areas during the shift.
• Maintain detailed shift logs and records of operational events, with focus on health, safety, and environmental performance.
• Support and promote teamwork and collaboration among shift personnel.
• Review and provide input on control specifications and operational work practices.
• Apply and follow Permit to Work System (PTWS) in accordance with work management procedures.
• Continuously develop personal and team technical knowledge, including new equipment and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor production systems and respond to equipment alarms and operational issues.
• Troubleshoot field equipment and production systems to minimize downtime and maintain production targets.
• Utilize remote monitoring and surveillance tools to diagnose issues.
• Coordinate with shift personnel to prioritize and resolve field challenges efficiently.
