Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon seeks a hands-on FIB technician to perform FIB cross-sections and SEM imaging, support sample prep including TEM lift-out, and provide clear analyses to help engineers resolve urgent manufacturing issues.

You will manage requests from the online system, prioritize based on fab urgency, and collaborate with fab, process, product, and failure analysis teams while maintaining safety and cleanroom standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on FIB technician with SEM imaging experience.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work with engineers.
• Good communication with requestors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform FIB cross-sections and SEM imaging to evaluate process integrity and defect mechanisms.
• Support sample preparation approaches including TEM lamella lift-out.
• Provide rapid physical analysis for tool and process qualification during production lines down events.
• Interpret analysis needs from the online request system and clarify ambiguous requests with requestors.
• Prioritize requests based on fab urgency and work within a 6PM–6AM night shift with rotating Wednesdays to Saturdays.
