Job summary

Liberty Ridge Elementary School is seeking a Night Engineer to manage custodial operations. The role covers several campuses within the district, including the program center and service center, ensuring cleanliness and safety during evening hours.

The candidate will operate boilers and HVAC systems, coordinate tasks for custodians, and assist with event setup and teardown. A relevant license and custodial experience are required, with testing timelines specified by the district.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Second Class Boiler License within 12 months of testing for 2C Boiler License.
• Two years custodial experience.
• Able to operate equipment used in custodial operations.
• Knowledge of standard safety procedures.
• Basic understanding of chemical dilution rates.

Responsibilities

• Direct custodial functions at District 833 Elementary Schools, District Program Center and/or District Service Center.
• Perform custodial duties: mop, sweep, trash, clean glass, vacuum, change bulbs.
• Operate boiler, HVAC, EMS and related equipment.
• Report maintenance needs to Building Foreman.
• Lock/unlock doors per schedule and set up/clean for events.
• Supervise other custodians and coordinate tasks.
