Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a skilled Facilities HVAC Technician for the Liberty Campus to support the Bldg Maint Liberty team. This full-time night-shift role focuses on maintaining reliable building systems and ensuring safety and efficiency across multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 3–5 years of HVAC experience, and EPA 608 certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• EPA 608 certification.
• Good problem-solving skills & critical thinking.
• Physically strong and able to stand for long periods.
• Analyze data from routine maintenance and identifying potential malfunctions.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Drives Results- Works in partnership with Leadership on Environment of Care initiatives and strategic plans and projects within CCHMC Facilities.
• Prioritization- Utilize knowledge of facilities best practices to maximize efficiency and safety.
• Communication (Internal & External)- Communicate clearly across organizational levels.
• Analysis and Implementation- Apply financial/managerial accounting and activity-based costing insights.
• Mentoring- Mentor Facilities Engineer I and II and develop team competency.
