Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a night shift, full-time Emergency Room Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Montclair, NJ. You will work under the RN to deliver direct patient care and help maintain a safe, clean environment in a fast-paced ED.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years as a PCT, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Preferred CNA certification or nursing student status with nursing coursework.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Patient Care Tech.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• Preferred CNA certification or Nursing student enrolled in a Nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision and maintain a safe patient area.
• Participate in daily care plans and assist in achieving outcomes as a team.
• Support nursing staff in the ER to ensure timely and quality patient care.
