Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking a Night shift Emergency Services RN for its stand-alone ED in Vail, AZ. The RN must have 2+ years of emergency room experience and can qualify for a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of emergency care experience required.
• RN licensure in state or compact state.
• BCLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred or as per unit guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per organizational policies and nursing process.
• Document assessments and changes in patient condition for handoff and care continuity.
• Administer prescribed medications; monitor for side effects and document administration.
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
