Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an ENTREE COOK for the Deer Valley Phoenix facility. You will prepare cafeteria and catering meals, including therapeutic diets such as pureed, salt-free, and ADA-restricted options, and support patient tray service.

The role requires handling multiple cooking stations, maintaining food safety, and assisting other Food Service Workers as needed. Night shifts run 6pm–2:30am on varied days, with full-time status.

Qualifications

• Less than High School is required.
• Technical Training Diploma/Degree or Vocational training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare entrees, vegetables, starches, sauces and soups; follow standardized recipes and specifications.
• Set up and service meals according to the established schedule and procedures.
• Operate and maintain a variety of kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, grinders, slicer, steamer, etc.).
• Maintain safe food temperatures and document on temperature logs.
• Ensure sanitation and cleanliness of all cooking areas and utensils.
