Job summary

MMT Ambulance is seeking an experienced EMS Operations Supervisor for the night shift in Jacksonville, FL. This role blends hands-on EMS work with supervisory duties to support daily ambulance operations, mentor staff, ensure policy compliance, and uphold high standards of patient care.

You will lead training, coordinate staffing, and maintain equipment and documentation while promoting teamwork and continuous improvement within a fast-paced EMS environment.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Current state Paramedic certification/licensure, or National Registry (NREMT) certification with reciprocity.
• Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment in high‑pressure/emergency situations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for professionals and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills to promote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely submission of timesheets and payroll docs.
• Lead and assist in training lower-level personnel and students.
• Deliver competent patient care in pre‑hospital and inter‑facility settings.
• Assist with hiring using ATS for screening candidates.
• Ensure adherence to field policies and timely paperwork.
