Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Full-Time ED Technician for night shifts (6pm–6:30am). The ED Tech provides patient care under supervision, assists with exams and minor procedures, and supports rapid, high-quality care in a Level I trauma center setting.

Responsibilities include documenting patient information, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating with nurses and physicians, with differential weekend and night pay as applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Requires BLS certification.
• EMT-B or higher with state licensure or CNA certification; or CNA in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision within training scope.
• Assist with patient exams and minor procedures.
• Document vital signs, procedures, and patient condition changes.
• Assist with transfer, transport, and coordination with care teams.
• Attend department meetings and assist in training new ED Technicians.
