Job summary

Banner Health in Ogallala, Nebraska is seeking a full-time Emergency Department Tech (CNA). You will provide patient care under supervision, assist with EKGs and vital signs, and support ED operations on the night shift (5pm–5:30am, 36 hours per week). A $2000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification and BLS.
• Current Nebraska CNA license or state equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under RN/MD supervision on the ED floor.
• Assist with EKGs, wound care, vital signs and specimen collection.
• Transport patients and monitor telemetry and non-monitored patients.
• Perform point-of-care testing per state guidelines.
• Maintain stock, participate in orientation of new ED Technicians.
