Job summary

Banner Health Ogallala Community Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Tech to support inpatient care and ER services. This full-time role requires a NE CNA license and BLS certification, with two 12-hour shifts per week (one 5am–5pm and one 5pm–5am).

You will assist with ECGs, vital signs, specimen collection, and minor procedures under supervision, contributing to a high-quality care team in a small-town Nebraska setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA license in NE required.
• BLS certification required.
• EMT-B or higher with state licensure or certification.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision of the RN, APN, PA, or Physician, performs assigned procedures including ECG testing, wound cleansing, vital sign measurements, and specimen collection.
• Sets up, prepares patient and assists with exams and minor procedures within scope of training.
• Performs point of care testing as allowed and maintains accurate records in the patient chart.
• Maintains stock levels and supports department operations; participates in meetings and training.
